I am a French student with a bachelor's degree in history (December 2023) from the University of Quebec at Trois-Rivières and I am now a candidate for a master's degree in history under the direction of Professor Marie-Ève Harton. During my undergraduate studies, I developed an interest in French immigration to Canada. My dissertation subject therefore concerns Savoyard immigration to Quebec, from the 19th to the 20th century.

Graduated from the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières with a Bachelor's degree in History (2022), I am currently a candidate for a Master's degree in History. I am interested in Aboriginal history, women's history and the history of Quebec and Canada in the 19th and 20th centuries. My Master's thesis, funded by a grant from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC), focuses on inter-ethnic marriages and the issues they raised regarding the membership of Abenaki women in the Odanak community after the adoption of the first colonial laws defining Indianness (1850-1880).

Having completed a bachelor's degree in history at UQTR (December 2022), I now have the pleasure of continuing my academic journey towards a master's degree in history since January 2023. My research project, supported by the SSHRC, focuses on colonization and the establishment of the first civil management institutions in the town of Amos in Abitibi at the beginning of the 20th century.
