Dr. St-Pierre completed his PhD in Biomedical Sciences in August 2023 under the supervision of Prof. Sobczak and Prof. Begon. His thesis work focused on improving understanding of the biomechanics of anatomical structures of the hip during clinical evaluation. More specifically, Dr. St-Pierre presented the variations in synovial fluid in the lateral and medial compartments of the joint capsule. In addition, he reported on ligament elongations within the iliofemoral ligament using surface scanning.Where are they now?
Dr. St-Pierre is currently working with Prof. Richard Debski at the University of Pittsburgh. His post-doctoral work focuses on the effect of proximal tibial osteotomies on knee ligament lengthening.Carla James ScD
