Program description

Étudiants programme courtLe programme court de premier cycle d'apprentissage du français pour étudiants non francophones is an immersion program with university credits at the Montreal course centre. In addition to the French courses offered from Monday to Friday, study assistance workshops, conversation workshops and socio-cultural activities are scheduled each semester. 

Programs offered:

  • the 0915 program in the fall (from September to December)
  • the 0916 program in winter (January to April)
  • the 0908 program in the summer (from May to July)

  • Permanent residence card or citizenship certificate ;
  • The Quebec Selection Certificate (CSQ) for Quebec immigrants ;
  • Health insurance card for federal immigrants ;
  • High school or university diploma or transcript translated into French or English

Frequently Asked Questions

Is student insurance automatically included in the tuition fees each semester? Yes.

Is it possible to cancel the insurance? If yes, what is the procedure? Yes. You can cancel it on your tuition bill by clicking the link, but pay attention to the cancellation deadline.

Can I keep the insurance just for one session? If you keep the insurance for the fall semester, you are obligated to keep the insurance for one year. You can only cancel it at the next fall semester.

Can Montreal students benefit from reduced fares on public transport? Yes! If students are enrolled in 4 courses (12 credits) in a program.
