Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières
The Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières (UQTR), a member of the Université du Québec network, was established on March 19, 1969, through the integration at the time of the Centre d'études universitaires de Trois-Rivières and the Maurice-L.-Duplessis State Teachers College. The founding rector of UQTR was Mr. Gilles Boulet, a key figure in regional development.
UQTR stands out for its strong and unique identity. Welcoming and dynamic, it opens its doors to a world of knowledge and challenges. Its medium size, strong local roots, and openness to the world make UQTR a great place to study. It offers a wide range of programs at all three levels of study and has awarded over 120,000 diplomas since its creation.

Centre of print Research
The Centre for Print Research (CFPR) is a distinctive centre of research excellence based at the University of the West of England. It is a unique, multidisciplinary group that combines knowledge and skills across traditional and digital techniques to reflect, innovate and find creative solutions for the future of print. Established in 1998, the CFPR has developed partnerships with world leading academic institutions and an outstanding record in working with collaborators across a wide range of sectors, including fine art, design, material science and engineering.

Vice-rectorat à la recherche et au développement
Le vice-rectorat à la recherche et au développement (VRRD) is tasked with assisting the Rectorate in the management of the University. It participates in the planning and coordination of all the institution's activities. Specifically, it is responsible for overseeing the planning and implementation of the institution's strategic directions. This work is carried out in close collaboration with the administrative services that make it up.

Unique in the Americas, le Musée des cultures du monde invites you to explore different cultures. With a significant collection of objects from the major world religions, the museum encourages you to share the foundations of the world’s great religious traditions, promoting better understanding and fostering greater tolerance toward differences.

Culture Mauricie
Active since 1978, Culture Mauricie brings together individuals and organizations that contribute professionally to the artistic and cultural life of Mauricie. It carries out the mandates entrusted to it by the cultural community and the Minister of Culture and Communications of Quebec.
The organization aims to promote regional artistic and cultural development through the collaboration of its members, which leads to awareness-raising, representation, promotion, training, and development actions. It also plays an advisory role to various partners in advocating for the artistic and cultural interests of the region.

Fondation de l’UQTR
The UQTR Foundation builds bridges between generosity and knowledge to support initiatives that enhance the quality of life for current and future generations. Its mission is to support the development of the University by financially assisting student and research communities, as well as campus improvement projects, through the solicitation of various donations and the sound management of its funds. The Foundation's mission also includes the construction and/or management of student residences to provide affordable and quality housing for the UQTR student community.

Galerie d’art du Parc
La Galerie d'art du Parc is a non-profit organization founded in 1972 by Denis Bouchard, Sabine Gingras, Father Carmel Paquin, and Liette C. Paquet. It officially opened its doors on February 9 at the St-Arnaud Pavilion, located in Pie-XII Park in Trois-Rivières. By 1974, the Parc Art Gallery became one of the first exhibition centers accredited by the Ministry of Cultural Affairs of Quebec. Since then, it has received support and collaboration from the Ministry of Culture and Communications of Quebec and the City of Trois-Rivières. Following an agreement with the municipality and the government, the Parc Art Gallery moved to the Tonnancour Manor in 1981. Each exhibition provides an opportunity for discovery, exchange, and enjoyment for art and history enthusiasts.

Maison et Atelier Rodolphe-Duguay
La Maison et Atelier Rodolphe Duguay is a unique cultural space dedicated to the work and legacy of the Québécois artist Rodolphe Duguay, a renowned painter and printmaker known for his contributions to printmaking and visual arts in Quebec. This venue serves as both an exhibition space and a studio, offering the opportunity to explore Duguay's creative world while also promoting printmaking and contemporary visual arts.

Atelier Silex
Atelier Silex offers specialized spaces and equipment to artists in the process of professionalization or those already established, supporting them in the development of their careers.
The artist-run center’s main mission is the promotion, development, and research in spatial arts, with a focus on new practices in contemporary art.

Atelier Presse Papier
Founded in 1979, Atelier Presse Papier is a center built around its role in the production and dissemination of printmaking. Originality, research/creation, and the hybridity between new realities in printmaking are at the heart of our concerns. The workshop is a space for research and exploration of multiple and printed images. Presse Papier aims to stimulate critical inquiry by promoting creation and dissemination both nationally and internationally.

Les Délices d’automne
Les Délices d’automne aims to prioritize exhibitors from the Mauricie region in order to support local artisans and promote local
shopping. From October 10 to 13, 2025, discover exclusive products from over 80 participating vendors and treat yourself to a variety of delicious tastings.

La Factrie 701
In addition to the gallery space dedicated to event exhibitions, La Factrie 701 offers various artistic training programs, drawing workshops, cultural "5 à 7" events, film screenings, conferences, and more. Just like the large factory that supported the prosperity of Grand-Mère until the 1960s in the building, the Factrie 701 workshop aims to contribute to the promotion of art and have a positive impact on the cultural life of its community in a disadvantaged neighborhood.

Culture Shawinigan
Culture Shawinigan – legally known as the Shawinigan Cultural Corporation – was created in 2004 following the city’s first cultural policy. As an autonomous non-profit organization, it is one of the key players in the arts and culture sector in Mauricie. Its mission? To support the arts, literature, and culture within its territory, as well as to foster the necessary cohesion for their sustainable development. A major promoter recognized for its work in the performing arts and visual arts, Culture Shawinigan also works in the fields of heritage and cultural mediation. Its team works energetically to offer citizens a high-quality artistic and cultural program.

Biennale internationale d’estampe contemporaine de Trois-Rivières
The Biennale internationale d’estampe contemporaine de Trois-Rivières has been held every two years since 1999. The BIECTR is one of the main international printmaking exhibitions in Canada. Its mission is to promote the importance of contemporary printmaking, and to propose research and tendencies in this discipline from all over the world. This exhibition and its related events lead to the discovery of remarkable works as well as to nourish the artistic milieu and to make a name for itself on the international stage. Focused on quality, the BIECTR has become for printmaking artists a must in Canada, and even in North America.

Festival international de la poésie de Trois-Rivières
Every autumn, the city of Trois-Rivières transforms into a vibrant hub for poetry lovers from around the world. For ten days, the International Poetry Festival brings together poets from Quebec, Canada, and beyond to celebrate the power of words in all their forms. Cafés, bookstores, public spaces, and restaurants become stages for readings, performances, and intimate encounters with poetry. Warm, inclusive, and deeply rooted in the region’s cultural identity, the festival welcomes nearly 40,000 visitors each year and proudly upholds Trois-Rivières’ reputation as the “Poetry Capital.”
