Insurance

Canadian students are covered by their province's health insurance.  Should a medical consultation be necessary during their stay, there may be fees to pay.  It is important to verify before leaving home as to how the home province provides reimbursements and compensation. It is suggested that students bring along some extra money.  Please note that it is very important that students bring their health insurance cards with them.

Non-Canadian students enrolled at the EIF must procure health insurance before leaving home.  It is also possible to buy health insurance here, as soon as you arrive at the University.  Non-Canadian students enrolled in a graduate program are automatically covered by UQTR's obligatory health insurance plan.

Dental insurance :

The dental insurance is automatically added on your invoice.
