Summer Program in Aging (SPA) 2026

This website serves as the central pulse for the Summer Program in Aging (SPA) 2026, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year! Whether you are arriving at Manoir D’Youville for our orientation or joining us for the final project presentations, this platform houses every essential resource, pre-work module, and networking tool you will need throughout the week.

SPA 2026 offers an advanced training environment designed to bridge disciplines, institutions, and geographical boundaries. From May 31 to June 5, you will engage in a dynamic curriculum that includes, expert keynotes and presentations, collaborative workshops, interactive roundtables, community building and a special CIHR-IA 20th anniversary celebration of the SPA.

Upon clearing customs and collecting your luggage, please proceed to the designated shuttle zone.

A) Boarding Point : Door 7 (second floor, see the map below).

B) Directions : Follow the signs for “Ground Transportation” and “Hotel Shuttles.” Door 7 is located on floor 2, on boul. Roméo-Dallaire.

C) Arrival Map :

For those arriving by train or by bus, the shuttle will be waiting outside the main station complex.

A) Boarding Point : De la Gauchetière Street Entrance.

B) Directions : Upon exiting on De la Gauchetière Street, volunteers will be waiting to guide you towards the shuttle, which will be parked at the designated passenger pickup curb along this street

C) Arrival Map :

A) Look for the Signs : Our volunteers will be wearing forest green shirts and holding “SPA 2026” signage at both locations.

B) Timing : The shuttles will make continuous roundtrips from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM EST. If you do not see the shuttle when you arrive, please wait with the volunteers at the designated area for its next arrival.
