Merit Scholarship Program for Foreign Students (PBEEE)
The Merit Scholarship Programs for Foreign Students (PBEEE) is open to foreign students and researchers from all research sectors who wish to undertake or pursue studies or research activities in Québec, and who are shortlisted by a Québec university.
This scholarship is open to students and researchers from all countries, but also includes specific components for candidates from Brazil, China, India, Israel and Wallonia. It is administered by the FRQ.

Submission of applications for UQTR preselection: August 25, 2024, 11:59PM
Submission of the preselected candidates to FRQ by UQTR: September 30, 2024.
Submission of application in FRQnet portal by preselected candidates: November 5, 2024, 4:00PM (EST)

Candidates preselected to the general program components (V1, V2, V3) can also be preselected for the Québec-Brazil-China-India-Israel-Wallonia program components.
Note: In addition to the scholarship, all recipients are exempted from international tuition fees and receive the medical insurance coverage provided by the Régie de l’assurance maladie du Québec
