« I am overjoyed to share that over the spring, I experienced a 5-week, intensive, immersion program at l'École internationale de français, l'Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières. The program offered me countless opportunities to engage with the French language and to learn about Québécois linguistic variations and Québécois culture. The teachers and organizers not only fostered an ideal environment for learning, but they acted as mentors who supported me on my foreign-language journey. At l'EIF, I wrote on the student journal as a journalist and editorialist, I co-hosted a podcast, and co-hosted a talent show. I completed the program with a number of transferrable skills and great satisfaction from the connections I was able to make. »
