Jacinthe Dion, Ph.D., is a clinical psychologist and full professor in the Department of Psychology at the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières since 2023. Previously, she was a professor at the Université du Québec à Chicoutimi from 2006 to 2023. She currently holds the Tier 1 Canada Research Chair on Sexual Violence Among Vulnerable Youth, known as Aquarelle.

Her experience as a clinical psychologist working with children and adolescents has strongly shaped her desire to focus on the strengths and adaptive capacities of youth and their families. She values collaborative approaches that involve a range of partners and communities in the research process, recognizing the unique strengths each brings to the work.
