Prof Philippe Pilvin has been visiting ERICCA for a one week mission on october 26th. Prof Pilvin is from Laboratoire d'ingénierie des matériaux de Bretagne, LIMATB (http://www-limatb.univ-ubs.fr/). He acts as Ph.D co-supervisor (with Prof Cuillière and Prof Vincent François) of Adrien Couture from ERICCA. This research collaboration between LIMATB and ERICCA targets modelling random heterogeneous materials with finite element analysis (FEA).
