Le Comité organisateur du Symposium annuel du GRIL lance un nouveau concours photo en vue du prochain symposium prévu les 8 et 9 juin 2021! Nous souhaitons voir vos plus beaux clichés en lien avec vos travaux de recherche en limnologie, que ce soit sur le terrain ou en laboratoire!
Catégorie #1 | terrain (paysages limnologiques, organismes aquatiques, manipulations/installations sur le terrain, limnologiste en action, etc.)
Catégorie #2 | laboratoire (microscope, manipulation/installations en labo, etc.)
Les six meilleures photos (six finalistes différent(e)s, trois par catégorie) seront choisies par le Comité organisateur du Symposium 2021 du GRIL. Les photos gagnantes seront révélées lors du symposium (titre et description des photos seulement) et les participant(e)s seront invité(e)s à voter pour leur coup de cœur parmi les finalistes.
Prix :
- Pour les six finalistes : certificat cadeau de 40$ chez MEC + votre chef d’œuvre imprimé!
- Photo coup de cœur : certificat cadeau de 100$ à la Place des Arts.
Vous avez jusqu’au 14 mai 2021 à 23h59 pour soumettre vos photos. Fouillez dans vos archives ou profitez des prochains mois pour prendre vos plus beaux clichés. Participez en grand nombre!
Règles du concours
- Vous avez jusqu’au vendredi 14 mai à 23h59 pour soumettre vos photos via le formulaire en ligne (lien ci-dessous).
- Les photos soumises doivent être liées à la recherche en limnologie et être en haute résolution.
- Le concours est ouvert à tous les membres du GRIL (étudiant(e)s, postdoctorant(e)s, chercheur(-euse)s et employé(e)s).
- Les participant(e)s peuvent soumettre jusqu’à deux photos par catégorie (4 photos au total).
- Six finalistes différent(e)s seront sélectionné(e)s, soit trois finalistes par catégorie.
- Le vote pour le coup de cœur des membres aura lieu lors du symposium : seul le titre et la description seront affichés sous les photos des finalistes.
- Chaque photo soumise doit être accompagnée des informations suivantes : titre, date, lieu et une brève description (60 mots et moins).
- Les droits d'auteurs doivent être respectés lorsque les photos soumises n'ont pas été prises par les participant(e)s.
- Vous acceptez que vos photos soumises dans le cadre de ce concours, gagnantes ou non, soient utilisées à diverses fins au GRIL (promotion, site Internet, publications, médias sociaux, etc.). Les photos peuvent faire l'objet de corrections mineures si sélectionnées; le crédit sera rendu à l’auteur(-rice) de la photo lorsque possible.
- Vous donnez l’exclusivité au GRIL pour utiliser ces photos et vous vous engagez à ne pas les utiliser à des fins promotionnelles pour un autre centre ou regroupement, ni à les soumettre à d’autres concours.
The GRIL Symposium Organizing Committee is launching a new photo contest for the next symposium scheduled for June 8-9, 2021! We would like to see your best pictures related to your research work in limnology, whether in the field or in the lab!
Category #1 | fieldwork (limnoscapes, aquatic organisms, manipulations/installations in the field, limnologist in action, etc.)
Category #2 | in the lab (microscope, manipulations/installations in the lab, etc.)
The six best photos (six different finalists, three per category) will be chosen by the 2021 GRIL Symposium Organizing Committee. The winning photos will be revealed at the Symposium (title and description only) and participants will be invited to vote for their favorites among the finalists.
Prizes :
- For all six finalists: $40 MEC gift certificate + a printed copy of your masterpiece!
- Members favourite picture: $100 gift certificate at Place des Arts.
Photos can be submitted until May 14, 2021 at 11:59 pm. Browse through your archives or take advantage of the next few months to take your best shots. We look forward to seeing your entries!

- Submitted photos must be related to research in limnology and be in high resolution.
- The contest is open to all GRIL members (students, postdocs, researchers and employees).
- Participants can submit up to two photos per category (4 photos total).
- Six different finalists will be selected, three finalists per category.
- Vote for the member's favorite photo at the Symposium : only the title and the description will be shown under the photos of the finalists.
- Participants must send the following information with all submitted photos: title, date, place and a short description (60 words or less).
- Participants must respect the copyrights for submitted photos when the photo has not been taken by them.
- You agree that your photos submitted in this contest, whether or not they are selected among the winning photos, may be used for various purposes by the GRIL (promotion, website, publications, social media, etc.). Photos may be subject to minor corrections if selected; credit will be given to the author of the photo when possible.
- You give the GRIL the exclusive right to use these photos and you agree not to use them for promotional purposes for another center or group, nor to submit them to other contests.
