In support to graduate students a wide variety of scholarships are available, either from UQTR fundation or funding agencies.
For master's and doctoral students who must write a scientific article, a scholarship application or their MSc or PhD thesis

Excellence at admission scholarship
This scholarship is offered each year to one student among all new MSc students in program 1662, and to one student among all new PhD students in programs 1694, 1695 and 1696 altogether, with the best academic and research realizations, and leadership ability, for previous studies. The scholarship will engage funds from the institution as well as the research director of the awarded student, and each research director detemines if he submits the application of one of its recently admitted MSc and/or PhD students at a given competition.
Scientific communication scholarships
