Plan global d'études/global plan of studies (For students admitted to a BCM program starting year 2019 or after)
MSc students must fill a global plan of studies with their supervisor. The form is called Plan global d'étude - Maitrise and it can be accessed here, under Formulaires à utiliser. It must be completed and sent to the program director as soon as possible during the first trimester, in order for the student to be able to register to the next one.

Choice of research director

It must be completed and sent to the program director as soon as possible during the first trimester, in order for the student to be able to register to the next one.
Choice of research subject
Both MSc and PhD students must fill this form with their supervisor. The form is called Choix de sujet de recherche and it can be accessed here, under Formulaires à utiliser. A short description of the student's research project must be inserted at the end of it, and then the completed form must be sent to the program director as soon as possible during the first trimester, in order for the student to be able to register to the next one.
Acknowledgement of participation to a seminar or a conference
CMB programs committee has voted an internal policy to ensure that graduate students in CMB participate to scientific activities in cellular and molecular biology domains and get familiar and actively and critically involved in science communications. This policy stipulates that successful completion of final seminar course for MSc students (BIP6024) and for phD students (BIP7001) is conditional to participation to at least six (6) activities such as student seminars or researcher's talk or scientific conferences. Students are asked to fill an Acknowledgement form at each student seminar he attends, or at a meeting (only one for for an entire scienfic meeting even though many different activities are attended there) and then to email the total of 6 completed forms to the program director of clerk.
Trimestrial evaluation (not mandatory for students who were admitted in their current study program after August 1st, 2018)
For students who were admitted before August 1st, 2018: the form must be filled before the end of each trimester, in collaboration with the research supervisor, and emailed to the clerk or the director of the CMB programs committee.
For students who were admitted after August 1st, 2018: the form is no longer mandatory but it can be filled if students or their supervisor wishes it, once a year or at each trimester
