1. Guided walking tour of the historic district of Trois-Rivières

Rich in cultural heritage and touristic interest, the historic district of Trois-Rivières is home to many beautiful monuments and buildings from the eighteenth century. As a witness of the greatest moments of our history, the Old Trois-Rivières has an abundance of valuable treasures in its museums and art galleries.

3. A night to remember at the Sugar Shack Chez Dany 

Come and have a unique experience and feast on authentic Canadian fare. In a wooden shack built in the middle of a maple forest, you will eat delicious meals cooked with the syrup tapped from the resort's maple trees. The evening will be hosted by a chansonnier who will make you feast and dance to good old knees-up, well known in our country. Registration is mandatory and will take place on Monday and Tuesday at the Congress reception counter.

4. City of Energy Guided Tour

The City of energy guided tour opens the door to a fantastic world of discoveries and education. Activities: observation tower, visits of hydroelectric plants, interactive exhibits, multimedia show and science demonstrations. Explore the fascinating universe of electricity, aluminum, pulp and paper and electrochemistry. Take part in exciting experiments on hydrogen, paper and aluminum.

A guided tour of the City of Energy includes:

5. Walk, picnic and swimming in the Mauricie National Park

Located in the mountain range of the Laurentians, the Mauricie National Park is a nature conservation area of ​​536 km2, a representative sample of the southern Canadian Shield.

A walk through the park will allow you to admire the lakes and landscapes that adorn this territory. In the morning, the walk ends at Bouchard Lake where you will learn interesting facts about the composition of the forest, which represents 93% of the park area, and also about the 150+ water bodies of various shapes, sizes and features. Characterized by the presence of the aquatic environment as well as the abundant and diverse forest, this park is home to a multitude of animal species representative of the Eastern Canadian forests. More than 50 species of mammals of all sizes are an important part of animal communities. Finally, you will be able to enjoy a picnic and swim in Wapizagonke Lake.
