Do you offer French courses at all levels?

We offer French courses at every level of language proficiency. A placement test allows us to determine your level and to fit you into the best group for you.

Do you offer French courses to people of all ages?

During the spring and summer sessions we offer French courses to people aged 3 to 99 years old! During the fall and winter sessions, people aged 18 and older can enrol in one of our programs.

Is parking available on the university campus?

You may purchase a daily, monthly, sessional or yearly parking permit.

Is the University far from stores, boutiques and supermarkets?

The UQTR and the residences are about a 10-minute walk from restaurants, drugstores, supermarkets and a shopping mall.

Is the University a non smoking environment?

It is strictly forbidden to smoke inside the UQTR buildings and university residences. Moreover, if you want to smoke you must be more than 9 metres from the outside entrance to the buildings.

I have to see a doctor, where should I go?

You have many options : 

Service aux étudiants (SAE) - A nurse is available on campus, you will need to take an appointment.

Clinique M - Private clinic on appointment (payable) www.cliniquem.com.

CHRTR Pavillon Sainte-Marie - If it's an emergency, go to the hospital as soon as possible. 1991 Boulevard du Carmel, Trois-Rivières.

I have kids, Can I still pursue my lessons?

Absolutely. Le P'tit Bacc offers a daily daycare for parents who are students. Parents can drop off their kids the time of a class. The schedule is adapted to a regular class which is 3 h 30. I did not receive my bursary. Who should I talk to?

You will have to visit the Service aux étudiants. For any questions concerning the student integration, the financial assistance, psychological help or learning support, please visit the following website : Service aux étudiants.

Where should I go to get my student card?

The Centre de ressources multiservice is where you can get your student card and is located at the main entrance hall of the Albert-Tessier pavilion. The student card gives you access at the CAPS, the borrowing of materials at the library along with the use of printers.
