The UNESCO Chair’s long-term goal is to promote young children’s access to and participation in appropriate developmental activities that respect their diverse needs and life contexts.
Specifically, the UNESCO Chair targets 4 objectives:
Conduct training activities for graduate student
Develop screening practices, assessment strategies, and effective interventions that are appropriate for the child’s as well as his/her family’s various settings
Document the implementation of best practices regarding screening, child assessment and intervention
Create an information platform for exchanges and sharing between partners and for the general public
