Dr. David Poeppel

Dr. David Poeppel is a Professor of Psychology and Neural Science at New York University. He is also the director of Neural Science research at the Max Planck Institute for Empirical Aesthetics in Frankfurt, Germany. Dr. Poeppel obtained a BS degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in 1990 and a PhD from the same institution in 1995. Prior to teaching psychology and neural science, Dr. Poeppel worked as an associate professor of linguistics and biology at the University of Maryland at College Park.
