Announcement: 2 Fellowships for Postdoctoral Researchers and 1 Fellowship for Doctoral Students
With this fellowship programme, funded by the Gerda Henkel Foundation, the IZEA intends to specifically promote research in the history of knowledge and the history of science with a focus on the period of Enlightenment, hence, a field which receives particular relevance in current debates in science politics and society more generally.
For the year 2026, the IZEA offers two fellowships for postdoctoral researchers for up to three months amounting to 2,760€ per month, and one fellowship for doctoral students for up to three months amounting to 1,920€ per month. The fellows work for up to three months at the IZEA and participate in the Centre’s research programme.
The Feijoo Institute for 18th-Century Studies at the University of Oviedo announces the 3rd Feijoo Institute for 18th-Century Studies Research Award, which aims to support the dissemination of original and unpublished research in Spanish that represents a significant contribution to the understanding of Spain "in both hemispheres" in the 18th century.
