Gustavo González-Calvo is a university professor in the field of Didactics of Body Expression at the University of Valladolid, Campus de Palencia, located in north-central Spain. His research interests focus on the study of bodily subjectivities, the development of teachers’ personal and professional identity, and mental health. Through qualitative research methods such as narratives, life stories, ethnographies, and autoethnographies. Recently, he has developed a deep passion for making research accessible both in academic contexts and to the general reader, publishing his work in various formats and employing diverse methodological resources (e.g., creative nonfiction, comics, drawings, and photographic techniques). He has published more than 100 articles in high-impact journals indexed in the Journal Citation Reports.
