About

The 13th edition of the IMPACT conference was held for the first time in the Americas at UQTR in October 2025. It stood out for its exploration of ecological, social, and postcolonial issues in printmaking, with a strong focus on intercultural dialogue and the integration of Indigenous knowledge.

From October 9 to 12, 2025, IMPACT 13 brought together over 130 participants from 14 countries — Canada, the United States, Estonia, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, England, Scotland, Australia, Brazil, Finland, Norway, and Poland.

Together, we experienced four vibrant days featuring 20 lectures, 15 exhibitions, and 8 technical demonstration workshops — a rich opportunity to exchange perspectives, share knowledge, and celebrate contemporary printmaking in all its forms.

Your curiosity, conversations, and enthusiasm infused this edition with a unique energy. You made IMPACT 13 much more than a conference: you created a true community of practice, reflection, and creativity.

The team warmly thanks all participants for their openness and commitment.

It is thanks to each and every one of you that IMPACT 13 left a lasting imprint on the artistic and collective memory of Trois-Rivières.

We hope this experience was a source of inspiration and meaningful connections.
