Yes, you may take photos or record videos. However, please refrain from using flash or sound while doing so.

Yes, you are welcome to bring and distribute promotional materials. There will be a designated area for this purpose.

Pets are not allowed in any buildings on the UQTR campus. However, service animals and guide dogs are permitted.

Smoking is prohibited in areas designated by law, including:

  • Inside the buildings and premises of UQTR,
  • Outside the buildings or rented spaces of UQTR within a nine-meter radius from any door, air intake, or window that can open,
  • In daycares and similar areas,
  • In bars, bus stops, tents, or any public or temporary installations,
  • On sports fields, spectator areas, or playgrounds frequented by minors,

Smoking is also prohibited in the following areas:

  • In any vehicle owned or rented by UQTR,
  • On the roof of a UQTR building,
  • In the outdoor area near the main entrance between the Albert-Tessier and Ringuet pavilions at UQTR.

For safety and comfort reasons, we recommend not bringing unpackaged food or items with strong odors during the conference sessions. However, coffee breaks will be provided during the event.

Alcohol is not permitted during the conference sessions. However, alcoholic beverages may be served at the closing events, receptions, or vernissages held at dedicated spaces (e.g., at the La Chasse-Galerie bistro on campus).

Please consume alcohol responsibly.
