Mario Trentim is a consultant, professor and book author on project management, business strategy and innovation. He is Director of Research at IBADE, Brazilian Institute for Corporate Development, and owner at Trentim & Associates – Strategic Project Management. For almost 15 years, Mario has been working as PMO manager, program and project manager in large engineering projects (Aerospace, Defense, IT, R&D, Telecom and Infrastructure). He started his career as Aspirant Officer to the Brazilian Air Force in 1999 and worked at various levels at the Department of Airspace Control and at the Department of Science and Technology. |

Professional
Between 2011 and 2014, as Head of Planning and PMO manager at Institute of Aeronautics and Space, Mario was responsible for strategic goals, project management practices and training, supporting project selection and prioritization, long and short term planning, budget controlling and portfolio management (RD&I - Research, Development and Innovation). From 2003 to 2010, Mario worked at the Department of Airspace Control, Brazilian Air Force, being responsible for MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Operations), medium-large projects, technical maintenance, acquisitions and implementation of new systems and infrastructure.
