Procedure

All individuals participating in either part of the research project will complete online questionnaires at three points: at the beginning of pregnancy, at the end of pregnancy, and six months after the child’s birth. Some parents may also be invited to take part in additional research activities such as physiological measurements and interviews, conducted by videoconference or in our research laboratories.

Financial compensation

A financial compensation of $10 is provided at each stage of the study after completing the questionnaires. An additional compensation ranging from $10 to $30 is provided for other research activities.

This study is led by Professor-Researcher Nicolas Berthelot from the Department of Nursing Sciences at UQTR. It has been approved by the Research Ethics Committees of the CIUSSS-MCQ (MP-29-2023-637) and UQTR (CERPPE-23-15-07.07).
