• The future intern must get in touch directly with the UQTR supervisor with whom he/she wishes to do a research internship to obtain a letter of invitation. To calculate the duration of the internship (the number of days between two dates), you can use this website.

Once the details of your internship are agreed with your supervisor, complete the Internship Agreement template relevant to your project.

Complete the required documents with your supervisor, get the required signatures from your home university, and return them to our team for final signature.

• Work Permit:
  If it is determined that you require an employer-specific Work Permit, you must notify our team in order to create the job offer number in IRCC system to be included with your Work Permit Application. We invite you to consult the summary table at the following link (French only) to verify the exemption code that applies to your situation.   You must have a passport that is valid for more than six months after the planned end of your stay.
