This course aims to provide students with an introduction to second language didactics, with particular emphasis on reading and writing. It also examines the teaching of grammar and vocabulary for the acquisition of reading and writing competencies within the context of a communicative approach. This course combines theoretical considerations with experiential learning and reflective thinking.
- Identify, discuss, and apply the different didactical principles studied.
- Analyse existing material and didactic sequences.
- Design and analyse didactic sequences for the teaching of grammar, vocabulary, reading, and writing, taking into consideration their suitability to the QEP and clienteles targeted.
- Experiment with the teaching of grammar, vocabulary, reading or writing.
